Common Questions

Frequently asked questions

How quickly can you find us a caregiver?

In most cases, we can match you with a caregiver within 24 to 48 hours of your initial consultation. For urgent situations, we do our best to provide same-day placement.

Do you accept insurance or Medicaid?

Many of our services may be covered by long-term care insurance policies. We can help you verify coverage. We also accept private pay and work with some Medicaid waiver programs.

Can I request a specific caregiver?

Absolutely. Client comfort and continuity of care are our top priorities. If you or your loved one connects especially well with a particular caregiver, we will do everything we can to make that placement consistent.

What if I'm not satisfied with my caregiver?

If for any reason a caregiver isn't the right fit, simply let us know and we will arrange an alternative match at no additional cost.

Are your caregivers employees or independent contractors?

Ready Caregivers is a nurse registry, not a home health agency. We connect families with independent, self-employed caregivers who are pre-screened, licensed, and insured. The caregivers work directly for you — we do not manage, monitor or supervise them once placed.

Not sure which service is right for you?

Our care coordinators will take the time to understand your loved one's specific needs and recommend the most appropriate care plan. The consultation is always free.
